Headland Girls (2013)

Inspired by a recent visit to Cornwall and the pure joy of feeling warm, soft sand underfoot, Headland Girls captures a fleeting moment in time between two women as they amble along the shoreline.

What are they saying to one another? Are they saying anything at all? Where are they going and where have they been? In this frozen moment I wonder about the journey that led the women to the beach, with all it's chance and sense of fate, and the stories of their lives waiting to unfurl.
